We are proud to support Stop AAPI Hate with a financial grant collectively from Hasbro, Wizards and eOne. Stop AAPI Hate was developed in response to the alarming escalation in xenophobia and bigotry resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. By identifying patterns and sources of anti-Asian racism, they are better able to support government agencies and community-based organizations that request their assistance. We are also working with our longtime partner, Design for Change to fund the development of educational materials within their Racial Justice curriculum to build empathy in young people and create social change. This will include a podcast series that will center voices of Asian youth, educators and caregivers and promote justice. These resources will be shared with employees once developed.
