Players Can Now Download the App for Free; Tablet and iOS Support Coming Later This Year
Magic: The Gathering Arena is now available for free on Google Play Early Access for select Android devices. Arena players can play, manage, and grow their Magic: The Gathering Arena collection wherever they go, with interface updates and touch-based control gestures optimized to support smaller screen sizes. Magic: The Gathering Arena will launch on tablets, other Android devices, and the App Store later this year.
Magic: The Gathering Arena for mobile includes cross-platform support, allowing players to log into their Wizards Account and access their existing Magic: The Gathering Arena collection, complete quests, and match against other players, regardless of platform.
Magic: The Gathering Arena in Early Access features:
Magic Anywhere and Everywhere – All MTG Arena card sets, formats, events, deck building and more are all supported on mobile, including the brand-new set Kaldheim.
Cross-Play and Cross-Platform Support – Players can use the same Wizards Account login across all platforms, allowing them more ways to play and grow their collection. Players on mobile can also match against others on Windows PC or Mac OS.
Enhanced Mobile Features – Players can physically tap the screen to tap lands to add mana to their mana pool with touch screen and other gesture controls that make gameplay easier for smaller screens.
