Netflix has picked up US and international rights to eOne’s upcoming horror drama for BBC, Red Rose.
Created by Michael and Paul Clarkson (His Dark Materials), the series is produced by eOne and Sex Education producer Eleven. It follows a group of British students who are forced to take on a supernatural entity after downloading a sinister app.
Red Rose is executive produced by Joel Wilson and Jamie Campbell for Eleven, Polly Williams for eOne and Mona Qureshi for the BBC. Olivia Trench will co-executive produce for Eleven.
